Bathtime (two months old)
Samuel celebrated part of his two-month "birthday" by taking a bath (administered by Abuelita--that is, Grandma--Gloria). Note the stages of a typical bathtime at our house:
1. Stage 1: Froggy pose. So far, Samuel is willing to submit to the bathing experience, and even participates by doing some leg bends while getting soaped up.
2. Stage 2: Second thoughts. Consternation begins to show on Samuel's face; he is no longer so sure this bathing thing is such a good idea.
3. Stage 3: "Get me out of here!" Samuel communicates in no uncertain terms that he is now ready to be done with bathtime.
P.S. If you're looking at that last picture and wondering whether Samuel has gotten a little, um, chubbier, the answer is yes: at his two-month doctor's appointment, he weighed in at 7 kilos, 600 grams--that's almost 17 pounds, and off the official weight charts for his age!

GREAT post. It's so fun to see his personality already developing!
