What's new

Where do I start? In the seven months since my last blog entry, I’ve finished my work with MCC, gotten married, moved into a new house, and taken a new job teaching high-school English at an American school here in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. And now my husband and I are expecting our first child.
So in answer to the title of this entry, almost the only thing that hasn’t changed since last November is the name of this blog! This is still my “Bolivian journal,” at least for the time being, since my husband and I will be living here at least until he finishes his law degree next year (and probably a bit longer). I say that’s almost the only thing that hasn’t changed, but the most important thing has remained rock-solid: God’s love and care. He has been faithful, and I know he will continue to be faithful through the changes the next few months will bring.
“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.” (Deuteronomy 7:8-10)
P.S. Stay tuned…I promise not to wait seven months before writing again! Next entry, I’ll aim to post some wedding photos.
