A visit from Grandma Z

The end of October brought a wonderful treat (no Halloween pun intended--OK, maybe it was...)--my mom came to spend just over a week with us. Her presence enriched our daily lives, as she went shopping with us at a couple of the local markets and accompanied us to the MCC office, where I taught a few language classes a week this past month.

Samuel especially enjoyed spending time with his grandma Dianne, as you can see from the photos:

Above, Grandma and baby spend some informal time together in our living/dining room.

Below, three generations take a breather during a shopping trip at a market near our home. It was a productive trip; we took home a stroller for Samuel, a gift from Grandma and Grandpa Z, and it served as an occasion to use his new baby carrier, a gift from Aunt Carla.

Anita, it was a wonderful experience to visit with you, Saul, and your circle of family and friends and to spend time with darling Samuel. These pictures bring back very sweet memories.
Love, Mom
