Music (ten months old)
.jpg)
Photo above: Here's our not-so-little-one-anymore with Saúl, ready to go to church, the day Samuel turned ten months old.
I've sung to Samuel since he was very small--to persuade him to stop crying, to distract him on long car rides, etc.--so we knew that music had the ability to soothe and entertain him. We've also heard him make cooing and babbling noises at different pitches, which makes us think maybe he's singing. But now that Samuel's old enough to be more expressive, especially with his body language, Saúl and I can more fully appreciate how much our son enjoys music. (Might he take after some members of his mother's family, such as Grandma Z., Uncle Daniel, and Aunt Laura?)
See for yourself: click on the link to see a video of Samuel enjoying a children's music video with his whole body.

P.S. See you soon--some of you, at least! Samuel and I will be traveling to the U.S. at the end of June to give my family a chance to meet its newest member. Please pray with us for safe travel and a blessed time of sharing with our loved ones in G.R.
